Nicholas was remembered for his kindness and generosity and many legends came to be told about him. This church window is about one of them. It shows three children who have been killed by a butcher and put in a brine tub. Saint Nicholas came and rescued them and prayed for them to live. | |

and he also became the patron saint
of Russia and Greece. |
