Worship

It is Christians choosing to thank God because of who he is (a great and powerful, loving God) and what he has done for us (forgiving us and helping us).

We simply want to say thank-you to God ... often. Don't just think of organs and choirs. Across the world, Christians use guitars, keyboards, drums, sitars and orchestral instruments - all kinds.

If my football team won the league, I would be thinking about them and how great they are. I would be praising them with my words. Well, in an even bigger way, Christians think God is the greatest and want to sing about him. It's a response to somebody great. That's worship.
