Saint Andrew, Patron Saint of Scotland

Andrew was one of the first disciples of Jesus, and he brought his brother, Peter, to meet Jesus. He was one of the disciples Jesus took with him on special occasions, and he followed Jesus all his life.
St. Andrew

At the feeding of five thousand people, it was Andrew who found the little boy with the loaves and fishes.

An old story says that he was crucified on an x-shaped cross, which is why the Scottish flag has an 'x' on it.

St. Andrew's Day is 30th November.
