Funerals |
| When someone dies, the friends and relatives have many emotions and feelings to cope with. There are also the practical matters that have to be dealt with, including organising the funeral. |

This coffin is in a funeral parlour. There are comfortable chairs so the mourners can sit here quietly if they wish. Some people decide how they want their funeral to be before they die, and include details of this in their wills, or by paying for a funeral plan in advance. But for others it is up to the family to make the decisions. |
| Funeral Director
The Funeral Director (or Undertaker) has the job of liaising with the family to make all the arrangements necessary for any church service and then the internment (burial) or cremation. There is a chapel at the crematorium or cemetary where a ceremony or religious service can be held instead of going to a church. The Undertaker organises the coffin, and the body normally stays in their Chapel of Rest until the funeral. |
