The Iona Community

Members get involved in many peace demonstrations. One such demonstration takes place at Faslane naval base, just outside Glasgow. Here, many Community members, associate members and friends join thousands of others, twice each year, in support of the abolition of nuclear weapons. In addition, members join in demonstrations promoting non-violent ways to end wars.

At the Community's offices in Glasgow, a publications department are busy producing and editing a range of books and tapes for sale, many of which have been written by Community members, reflecting their individual lives.
