| The Iona Community is an organisation which is made up of around 240 members, 1,500 associate members, 35 youth associates, and around 1,500 friends, all of whom come from different backgrounds and Christian churches. |

| Although members live throughout the UK, associate members and friends live in many different parts of the world. Together they believe that God is present not only inside church buildings, where people come to pray, but is involved in everyday life, in the every day things that affect all of us, in our schools, work, homes, towns and cities, and that God wants different Christian denominations to live and share more together. |
