This modern tapestry is so big it is in the Guiness Book of Records! It shows Jesus as powerful, yet with the marks of the nails in his hands. It's sheer size and power fill people with a sense of awe and wonder. |

This whole room is a work of art! It is the Gethsemane Chapel. Jesus is seen praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, knowing he is about to die (The Bible, Matthew chapter 26 verse 42). We see him through the crown of thorns which the soldiers would ram on his head before they crucified him. What do you think the artist is trying to help us to think about? |
