The Chapel of St. Patrick and the Saints of Ireland |
![]() |
Saint Patrick (387-461) is the patron saint of Ireland, because he took the Christian faith there. The chapel is decorated with green Irish marble. |
| The patterns include snakes, which legends says were driven from Ireland by St. Patrick, and the shamrock (three-leaved clover) which he used to teach about the Trinity. A statue of St. Patrick stands behind the altar. | ![]() |
