Chapel of St. Andrew and the Saints of Scotland

Chapel of St. Andrew and the Saints of Scotland

Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland. He was a fisherman, the brother of St. Peter and one of Jesus' twelve disciples.

Above the altar is a diagonal cross, like the one on which St. Andrew was crucified.

Either side of the altar are carvings of four Scottish saints - Ninian, Margaret, Bride and Columba.

Saint Andrew's day is 30th November.
