The Nave |
For Catholics, Westminster Cathedral is the mother church of England and Wales, and it is one of the busiest churches in the United Kingdom. Everywhere, people are kneeling in prayer, quietly sitting and thinking, and lighting candles as a symbol of their prayers. People come to confession, and mass takes place in the nave and smaller chapels seven times every day. |

Westminster Cathedral has a choir that sings at the Solemn Mass almost every evening of the year, when the great building is filled with the sound of their singing. Westminster Cathedral is a very special place for Catholics - a holy place set apart for the worship of God. |
