The RAF Chapel |
This chapel is dedicated to those in the Royal Air Force who died in the Battle of Britain between July and October 1940. A service of thanksgiving is held in their memory each year, and a Book of Remembrance holds their names. |

| The modern stained glass windows include pictures of airmen, to show that Christian faith is relevant to even the most difficult times of life. |  |

This hole in the Chapel wall was made by a bomb dropped during the battle. It has been kept as a reminder of the battle. |
