The Islip Chapel

This chapel was fitted by Abbot Islip who died in 1532, only eight years before the Monastery was closed by King Henry VIII.

This window was made in 1948 to say thank you to God that Westminster Abbey and nearby St Margaret's Church survived the bombing of the Second World War.
