Cathedra

A Cathedral is named after the Bishops' Throne, or Cathedra. This is where the Bishop sits.

There is an embroidered hanging of St. Andrew at his back. St. Andrew was one of Jesus' twelve disciples, and is the patron saint of Wells Cathedral.

The organ is in the Quire.
