The Lady Chapel

The Lady Chapel is dedicated to Mary the mother of Jesus. It is a place to sit and think, and where small services are held for visiting groups.

The Priests of the Cathedral start their day of prayer here, with Matins at 7.30 a.m.

The windows are a brilliant kaleidoscope of fragments of medieval glass. This is because many windows were broken by Oliver Cromwell's soldiers.
