The Chapter House was the place where all the business relating to the Cathedral was decided. It was also a courtroom where cases were tried.

Each member of the clergy had their own seat around the edge of the Chapter House. Over each seat is the name of the place where they come from.

In the middle is a pillar carved like a big tree of life, stretching up to heaven.
