Saints Days

Members of the Orthodox church are named after saints. When it is the day of the saint that a member is named after, the person brings Bendarti as a gift to the church. This is put on this table, along with a bottle of wine. In this short service the congregation sing the song of the saint.

On the table are flowers and an icon of Mary the Mother of Jesus. Behind it there is a second table, which is used for the same purpose.
