In the centre of the altar is a Bible ... |
and the Minsio. This is the church's authority from the Archbishop to be an Orthodox church. The Minsio shows Jesus in the tomb. |

The Antophilagio is a symbol of the church. In it is a small box that holds communion bread which has been blessed and set aside by the Priest on the Thursday of Holy Week. Throughout the year, this bread is taken by the Priest by people who are too ill to come to church to share in communion. There is also a stand holding a book of liturgy, and an icon of Jesus. Two oil lamps and beeswax candles are lit during the church services. |
