The Chapel of St. Thomas a Becket

This Chapel was given to the Cathedral by King Henry the Second, as part of his penance for his part in the murder of Thomas Becket. Thomas Becket had been the Archbishop of Canterbury until he was murdered in 1170, after an argument with the king.
