I Go to a Pentecostal Church

Communion

We normally have communion in the morning service, although sometimes in the evening too. We read from the Bible about how Jesus had some bread and wine with his disciples, and told us to think of him. We will pray, and then share the bread and wine. Sometimes some music is played, but at other times it is quiet, so we can talk to God ourselves and thank him for sending Jesus so we can be forgiven, and know him today.
communion
We stay sitting in our seats while the bread and wine are passed around. Anyone who loves Jesus, and wants to, can share the wine and bread. The wine is usually in special tiny glasses, so that everyone gets one each, but the bread is a broken up loaf that you break a small piece off.
children's group
Apart from Sunday, nearly every day of the week different people meet together, especially the children and young people.
On a Wednesday is the '610 Club' for children from 6 to 10 years old, and on a Friday, first the 11 - 14 year olds meet as 'Liveset', and then the over 14's as 'The E.D.G.E.' ('Every Day God Encounters'). These are great fun, with games, quizzes, prizes and discussions, and the chance to meet friends, and bring along people who don't usually go to church who would like to know what it is all about.
