I Go To An Independent Evangelical Church |

After about half an hour of worship songs, the offering is taken, and then children under 13 go out to their Sunday School groups. On one Sunday each month we take Communion together as a church family. When the children have left, one of the leadership team, or maybe a guest speaker, will speak to the church. Usually they will explain a Bible passage, or maybe talk on a particular theme, like physical healing, and what the Bible has to say about that. |
|
When the speaker has finished, there will often be what we call 'Ministry Time'. This is when anyone who wants to can be prayed for. It can be about anything at all, but often it will be something that the sermon has covered. |

At the end of the service, we all stay and chat over a cup of coffee. This can go on for ages, but no-one seems to mind - people actually enjoy hanging around the church! |
