I Go To A Congregational Church

I go to a Congregational Church. We meet twice on Sunday to hear the Bible read and explained to us. Our Minister normally leads the meeting and talks from the Bible. On Sunday morning we will sing different songs, some written over 100 years ago, and some more modern ones. Someone from the church will give a short message, normally a story, to the children, before they go to their different meetings.

In our church we have three different groups, a crèche for babies, a Sunday School for young children (age 4-8) and an older children's meeting (age 9-16) called Covenanters, or Covies for short. In Covies there is a Bible reading and a chance to discuss and talk about Bible stories and issues. Sometimes after the service there is a cup of tea and a chance to talk to other people in church.
