I Go to an Asian Church |

When the preacher stands up to speak they sometimes speak in English, and sometimes speak in another language they are more comfortable with. There is usually a person who stands next to them and translates the message into English, Punjabi, Gujarati or Hindustani. They do this so that everyone can understand what is being said. We young people can listen to the English, as we don't all speak Asian languages well. Also older people may understand one language if they are not so fluent in another language. |

Usually, during the main service we go out into another room for our own junior church. The little children go to a crèche. The BuildingWe do not have a building of our own, so we use a church where some of the families go for English service in the morning and in the evening. The actual buildings are often owned by other English churches. We meet up there in the afternoon as an Asian church or fellowship. It helps people who still want to go to English churches in the morning and evening. |
