I Go to the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. It's mission statement is:

Its MESSAGE is based on the Bible.
Its MOTIVATION is the love for God.
Its MISSION is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ,
and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination.

This is the international mission statement; many corps (churches) will have something similar and specific to their area.
