I Go To An Anglican Church

Anglican church

The Anglican Church has a long and eventful history. The building in which we meet on Sunday goes back around 700 years. The base of the tower was built in the mid 13th century. Just imagine, people used to come to church here all those years ago.

Don't let the age of the building put you off though, there is a lot of life and activity in our church, and people of all ages come to worship here.

If you want to discover more about the history of the Anglican Church go to the end of this section. The Anglican Church is also known as the Church of England. You will find an Anglican Church in most towns and villages in England. Our Church
At our church we exist to:
CELEBRATE the love of God
CARE for each other
CULTIVATE personal growth
COMMUNICATE the Gospel in words and actions to others.
These words are hung up in our church for everyone to see. We call them our mission statement. We try to base everything we do in church, and at home through the week, on these things.
