Parables, Similes and Metaphors

Jesus' most famous metaphors are about himself and start with the words "I am". They each have a double meaning - "I am" is also a name for God (The Bible Exodus chapter 3 verse 14 NLT).

You could invent some unusual metaphors of your own, like -
"The sweet exploded with flavour on my tongue."

You could think of you own simile, like -
"This lesson is like wet washing hanging on a dismal rainy day - except sometimes the weather gets better".

You could make up your own parable - a story that makes a point. How many can you think of?
