| Incredible generosity from CAFOD's supporters proved that compassion was alive and well in Britain. In a twist of fate, many who gave aid to Mozambique during terrible floods in February 2000 later found their own houses under water when heavy rains hit the UK. This prompted a letter of "profound human and Christian solidarity" from flood survivors in Mozambique. |
