While men go to prison

Salvation Army officers visit more than 23,000 prisoners in UK and 250,000 worldwide each year. And when released from prison help is available too.

While there is one drunkard left

The Salvation Army offers a comprehensive rehabilitation service for those suffering from addiction. Treatment centres provide for the various stages of rehabilitation, from detoxification, medium and long-term rehabilitation and individual and group counselling, through to work re-training and help with resettlement. Worldwide, the Army runs more than 150 centres for alcoholics.
