Introduction |
A creed is a statement of belief. The word 'creed' comes from the Latin word credo which means 'I believe'. |
| Many, many creeds have been written within Christianity over the years and 2 of these have become very important summaries of what Christians have believed over the centuries. The 2 most important creeds are the Nicene Creed (important especially to Orthodox Christians, Roman Catholics and Anglicans, and the Apostles Creed (important to Anglican's and Catholics). |
| In this box, write your own Creed . Write what you believe about God, who you believe Jesus was and what you believe happens after you die. If you feel strongly about anything else (for example, the environment, prejudice,) you can add that at the end. Explain your beliefs if you can. Then use the 'print' option below or on your toolbar to print it out. |
