Surrogacy

This is when a woman becomes pregnant for someone else. It is often the situation that an embryo fertilised by means of IVF is placed in the uterus of another woman who carries the baby until the birth. Sometimes, there might be donations of egg and /or sperm. It could help someone who has no uterus or a damaged uterus to have a child.
