In this verse Jesus is speaking to his disciples. He is very clearly telling us that He wants us to have a full life ... not just life in itself. Terminal illness and accidents can leave a person with very little quality of life. Surely, if there is no chance of that person being restored to the fullness of life, then euthanasia has to be acceptable.
