DO NOT JUDGE

Jesus criticised those people who were judgmental, who judged others wrongdoing while ignoring their own.

In Matthew chapter 7 verses 1 - 2, Jesus states "Stop judging others, and you will not be judged. Whatever measure you use in judging others, it will be used to measure how you are judged."

Christians do not believe that this means that the Government has no right to judge criminals in order to protect society. It means that we as individuals shouldn't consider ourselves better than others. As the passage in John chapter 8 verses 1 - 11 suggests, we all have criminal thoughts and maybe only circumstances have meant that we are not the criminals.
