Couples will separate rather than put in the effort when there are problems
If things go wrong, you don't have the stress of divorce
It breaks down society and stable family life
If you want children, then you can get married

Christians believe marriage is a gift from God, but don't have to marry.

Reasons for Christian marriage are:

  1. Life together in love
  2. Have lawful sex
  3. Friendship
  4. Have children and a Christian family

What happens in a Christian wedding:

  1. Exchange of vows before God and witnesses
  2. Exchange of rings
  3. Prayers, Bible readings, sermon
  4. Communion
